This policy covers how RightStep treats personal information that RightStep collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that RightStep does not own or control, or to people that RightStep does not employ or manage.
RightStep may collect personal information when you request information from us, when you register for a web seminar (webinar) or broadcast meeting, and when you request to be added to our mailing list of upcoming events and news. We may collect other information including your title, telephone number, department/position, employer, as well as the contents of your questions and/or comments.
Uses of Information.
RightStep does not share any information that identifies you personally with any third party except if: (a) we have your consent to share the information; (b) we need to share your information to provide a product or service you have requested; (c) we need to send the information to companies who work on our behalf to provide a product or service to you (unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us); or (d) we respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.
As is true of most Web Sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. RightStep uses this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the Site, to track users' movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
